FaceTite treatment details

FaceTite is performed under local and/or light sedation. Treatments are minimally invasive, with no incisions, stitches, or scarring. When you arrive for your FaceTite appointment in Palo Alto, your face will be marked to guide Dr. Hessler. Anesthesia will then be administered via a series of injections. Once the area is numbed, a cannula will be used to create the access points for the handheld FaceTite device to enter.

Cooling jelly will be applied to the skin, and then the treatment will begin. The FaceTite probe is a device that has both internal and external sections so that it can treat the area both deeply and superficially.

Energy is passed between these two sections in a unidirectional flow as the cannula moves easily through the tissues. The device also monitors internal and external temperature throughout the entire treatment, and will automatically stop if the temperature gets too high.

Recovery

FaceTite patients will need to wear a compression garment for 3 to 4 days after treatment. Strenuous exercise should be avoided during this time to lower the risk of bruising and swelling. Most patients are able to return to work and regular activities 4 to 7 days post-treatment.

Results

Results may become apparent as early as one week after treatment, although patients should be aware that it takes 3 to 6 months to see full results from a FaceTite procedure.
