Bay Area Plastic Surgeon Jill L Hessler, MD is a fellowship trained facial plastic surgeon specializing in the latest advances in aesthetic surgery.  Dr. Hessler is one of few surgeons that are double board certified including certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University, one of the highest ranked training programs in Otolaryngology in the United States.  While she enjoyed the complex and varied operations of Otolaryngology, she found her passion to reside in the artistic aspects in the subspecialty of facial plastic surgery.  Dr. Hessler was selected for the highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan.  During her fellowship she developed a refined appreciation for the subtleties in aesthetic facial structure and proportion, and she perfected her surgical skills in cosmetic surgical procedures, such as Blepharoplasty , Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Laser Treatments  and Skin Cancer Reconstruction.  Dr. Hessler offers her services to patients in Northern California in the discreet office of Premier Plastic Surgery in Palo Alto.

Dr. Hessler’s experience includes being chosen as a faculty member at Washington University to specialize in Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.  As a member of the faculty she trained numerous surgeons, lecturing and demonstrating her meticulous technique and approach to cosmetic surgery procedures.  Dr. Hessler also organizes a course on Rhinoplasty, cosmetic nasal surgery, which draws national and international surgeons to learn the techniques of Rhinoplasty (link ot Rhinoplasty) and Revision Rhinoplasty cosmetic surgeries.  Dr. Hessler has also been chosen as faculty for multiple other hands on courses training plastic surgeons procedures such as Blepharoplasty (link to Blepharoplasty), Facelift (link to facelift) in addition to Rhinoplasty.  Continuing her involvement in teaching Dr. Hessler maintains an adjunct teaching appointment at Stanford University lecturing and teaching resident doctors in training.  Dr. Hessler is not only involved in the northern California Bay area but also serves on the national level with involvement in committees within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Hessler has received numerous honors and awards over the years.  She was selected by her peers of other plastic surgeons and physicians as one of the Best Doctors in America and was received the Janet Glasgow Women in Medicine Award.   Dr. Hessler provides individualized attention during her client’s consultations and performs all of her own consultations and procedures herself in the discreet Palo Alto office and surgery center of Premier Plastic Surgery.
